This registration is designated for athletes who do not see a local event in their surrounding area. By completing the Pitch, Hit & Run Youth Participation Interest form, you, as the parent/guardian, will receive information regarding the location and timing of Pitch, Hit, and Run competitions near you. A representative of Pitch, Hit, and Run will notify you when an event in your area becomes available.

Program Information

Major League Baseball’s Pitch, Hit & Run program is a free, diamond sports skills competition, event series for kids, ages 7-14. Participants compete in one of four age levels (7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14) in either the baseball or softball division. Competition age for 2024 participants is based on the child’s age as of November 15, 2024. Participants will be measured on three skill areas—pitching, hitting, and running—with their measurements combining for a cumulative score. Participants with the highest scores in their local competitions will have the opportunity to advance to a Team Championship, where participants will compete for a spot in the National Finals, hosted at the 2024 World Series.

Major League Baseball’s Pitch, Hit & Run (PHR) competitions provide boys and girls an opportunity to showcase their baseball and softball skills at a local competition with the opportunity of earning a chance to attend and compete for a Championship during the 2024 MLB World Series!

Approved local events give youth organizations an opportunity to provide a free and high-quality experience for their local participants.
